Bush fires in Panama

Fire fighters working to kill a bush fire in Panama a week ago.

Panama has two seasons in the year, the rainy season and the dry/smoky season. The smoky season is due to the number of people want to burn off scrub brush instead of cutting it and disposing of it efficiently. This is some of the results, hectares of scrub land burnt and many locals suffering from smoke inhalation.
