Some stunning sunsets form Coronado
Sunset over Coronado, the scenes change as the months change and the colours vary also.
A new mum to be very soon, she built her nest on top of the gas bottle rack in our yard.
I was fortunate enough to get a tour of the insides of the new Post pana-max locks for the panama canal. We got to see the insides of the gates without any water and to see inside the tunnels that are used to transfer the water from the locks to the holding pits.
Also, very interesting was to see inside the new lock gates, which are hollow.
Panama has two seasons in the year, the rainy season and the dry/smoky season. The smoky season is due to the number of people want to burn off scrub brush instead of cutting it and disposing of it efficiently. This is some of the results, hectares of scrub land burnt and many locals suffering from smoke inhalation.
